Chipset block
I made two types of chpset cooling blocks. I used also the AutoCAD program. The firs one:
Chipset_block-1 parameters
Material of block body: | red copper
Material of the cap and stubs: | yellow brass
Size of block body: | 40x40x16 (mm)
Size of block cap: | 40x40x2 (mm)
Size of block: | 40x40x18 (mm)
Depth of sole: | 7,6 mm | |
Latitude of route: | 3 mm | |
Inside cross section of route: | 50,3 mm2
Latitude of wall: | 3 mm | |
Active heat transfer area: | 40 cm2 |
I thought that this block would be an a little bit serious one for one cooling chips later. I would not have been able to fix it onto my motherboard rather certainly, moreover unnecessary here refrigeration performance of this size. I planned smaller one instead because of this.
Chipset_block-2 parameters
Material of block body: | red copper
Material of the cap and stubs: | yellow brass
Size of block body: | 40x40x5 (mm)
Size of block cap: | 40x40x2 (mm)
Size of block: | 40x40x7 (mm)
Depth of sole: | 2,2 mm | |
Latitude of route: | 2,8 mm
Inside cross section of route: | 50 mm2
Latitude of wall: | 1 mm | |
Active heat transfer area: | 13,5 cm2 |
I made two from this one:
Was of two kinds so finally chips my refrigerator block. I do not use one however currently. Fenthagytam my motherboard the original factory cooling flange. There is not a trouble with him, is not getting warm extremely.
